TriStar StoneCrest Medical Center, a leading full-service hospital in Smyrna, TN, is seeking an Operating Room Nurse Board Runner to join our dynamic surgical team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our surgical suites, specializing in diverse fields such as cardiology, orthopedics, and general surgery. The Operating Room Nurse Board Runner will coordinate surgical schedules, manage operating room assignments, and ensure all necessary supplies and staff are available for each procedure. Coordinate the daily schedule of the operating rooms and adjust as needed for emergency cases. Communicate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff to confirm schedule and room assignments. Prepare and review the surgery schedule one day ahead, ensuring all resources and staffing are aligned. Monitor and manage the flow of information between surgical teams and department leadership. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of all active cases in the operating rooms. Adhere to and promote compliance with hospital safety protocols and surgical standards.
