Provide direct and comprehensive nursing care to patients based on individualized care plans. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and monitor patients for side-effects and responses. Educate patients and their families on disease processes, treatments, and health maintenance. Maintain accurate patient records and document patient care services by charting in patient and department records. Participate in the development of nursing policies and procedures. Supervise and mentor nursing assistants and LPNs.
