- The Services Coordinator monitors all programs for compliance to HRMC P&P and funder expectations.
- He/She is responsible for positively representing the programs as well as the center in the community.
- He/She is responsible for monitoring all contracts for productivity compliance and managing fiscal compliance to monthly goals.
- Ensures coverage for program vacancies and is able to perform other duties as needed.
- New Program Development
- Research and identify gaps in service delivery system as exhibited by reporting service needs in supervision.
- Successfully implement new programming within HRMC as evidenced by 3 months start up to full implementation.2. Compliance
- Ensure all programs meet standards of licensing agent and funder as evidenced by successful audits (target of 80% for SSOC; target of no more than 10 findings for other audits).
- Ensure all programs meet standards of licensing agent and funder as evidenced by no repeat finding in audits.3. Quality Programming
- Continual improvement in quality programming as evidenced by the identification and correction of problem areas with no reoccurring issues.
- Identify best practice standards for program areas as evidenced by publication in program manuals.
- Implement best practice standards for program areas as evidenced by staff training.
- Implement best practice standards for program areas as evidenced by integration into service delivery.4. Public Relations
- Represents the Center in the community in a positive and professional manner as evidenced by good working relationships (satisfaction survey, referrals, and complaints).5. Personnel
- Ensure positions are filled in a timely manner as evidenced by position filled within 2 months.
- Staff issues are identified and addressed promptly as evidenced by the utilization of progressive disciplinary procedures.
- Staff are supervised on a regular basis and have a good working knowledge of job duties.
- Foster professional growth and development of staff through the identification of leadership potential.6. Revenue
- Maintain productivity to ensure all revenue targets are met (including earning cost-based grants).7. Expenses
- Control expenses (target of under 97%) in relationship to revenues earned.COMPENSATION:
- Starting salary for this position is approximately $66,669 /yr based on relevant experience and education.Schedule:
- This position has a regular schedule of Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm.
- In person daily attendance is essential for this position except in instances of approved time off.
- Travel: This position requires utilizing a personal dependable vehicle to conduct Center business.
- Maintaining a dependable vehicle and certified driver status is a condition of employment.
- Staff members may be required to provide transportation in their personal vehicle and staff members are reimbursed for use of their vehicle for this purpose.Equipment/Technology:
- Basic computer skills are required for email, timekeeping, and documentation in the electronic medical record.QUALIFICATIONS - Foster Care Services CoordinatorEducation:
- A Master's degree from an accredited college in a mental health related field of counseling, psychology, or social work.
- Must be eligible to be credentialed and must be licensed or licensed eligible.Experience / Knowledge:
- Work experience in the behavioral health setting working with children and an understanding of child development processes.
- Management experience is preferred.Physical:
- Must be capable of assisting in utilizing nonviolent methods of crisis intervention including therapeutic holding.
- Hearing of normal/soft tones and close eye work.
- Valid driver's license.
- Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching.
- CPR and First Aid certification required (training provided).
- Required to be certified in and adequately implement verbal de-escalation techniques.
- Applicants should be able to exercise sound judgement under pressure.
- Clinical staff may be required to get an F endorsement to transport clients as necessary.Location:
