As a member of the Sales Tax professional staff, this position contributes general knowledge and skill in the Sales Tax Compliance area to support Lodging Tax Department business objectives. The Sales Tax Senior Analyst reports to the Manager of Sales Tax Compliance and completes complex accounting and compliance tasks associated with the client's required sales and occupancy tax compliance for assigned properties within assigned states. The position is also responsible for maintaining an accurate compliance environment, researching the taxability of transactions as needed and ensuring that all deliverables are completed timely and accurately. The Sales Tax Senior Analyst is the primary point of contact for the client on tax matters for assigned states. Basic Qualifications: - Minimum of 3 years of experience in Finance and Accounting (F&A)
Preferred Skills: - Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Finance, Accounting, Math and/or Statistics)
- CPA
- Experience with US Sales Tax
- Experience with tax research tools, Microsoft products, CorpTax, Quickbase and other accounting systems
