  Job Summary and Qualifications
  
  The Clinical Informatics Coordinator is responsible for supporting the implementation of and providing ongoing support for corporate/division/facility-wide standardization, utilization, integration, and optimization activities related to the electronic health record and other clinically related technologies. She/he is responsible for coordination, support, and completion of project assessments, project advancements, workflow mapping, tools, and resources focused on Clinical Informatics' initiatives including but not limited to provider order entry and documentation, standard clinical documentation, Promoting Interoperability, and other technology that supports clinician workflow. The Clinical Informatics Coordinator will participate in the company-wide community of Informatics by working with Director of Clinical Informatics and facility peers to ensure clinical applications are well supported throughout the facility.
  
  What you will do in this role:
  
  
  • You will handle the implementation and support of corporate and division-wide standardization, utilization, integration, and optimization activities related to the EHR and other clinical informatics initiatives.
  • You will handle development, execution, and support of education plans, tools and resources focused on the EHR and other clinical informatics initiatives. This includes training and onboarding of new providers and staff.
  • You will support technology implementations that support clinician workflow.
  • You will handle resolutions of complex issues and requests escalated from and to the division Service Desk or other division or health system service resources.
  • You will handle ongoing monitoring of various EHR utilization trends.
    What qualifications you will need:
    
    
    • Clinical degree required
    • Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
    • 1-3 Years of experience in an acute care setting required
    • 1-2 years of experience in Clinical/Heathcare Informatics, clinical application support, or equivalent preferred
    • BLS (Basic Life Support) required
    • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) required
    • Must understand pertinent regulatory guidelines such as Joint Commission, HIPAA, etc.
    • Have demonstrated ability to establish and build strong relationships across a broad range of personality types.
    • Must demonstrate ability to communicate effectively with clinical and information technology personnel verbally and in writing.
    • Must have excellent leadership and teaching abilities.
    • Must have demonstrated advanced computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office)
    • An understanding, enthusiasm and commitment to the goals of the project.
    • Leadership skills to direct others and maintain a common vision for project objectives.
    • Must be a motivator and possess the ability to communicate with staff at all levels of the practice, as well as with vendors and other outside agents.
    • Effective organizational skills; Problem solving and analytical skills; The ability to delegate tasks and enlist the cooperation and/or assistance of team members and others.
