Job Description Job Description Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years NICU RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Provide specialized nursing care in a Level III NICU environment, supporting infants from 24 weeks gestation and up, including micro preemies as early as 44 weeks. This role involves managing high-acuity cases, including infants requiring respiratory support and post-surgical care. Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive, family-centered care for neonates in a Level III NICU setting. Utilize critical thinking to support micro preemies and high-acuity newborns. Monitor and manage respiratory support devices and other specialized equipment. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal infant outcomes. Document care accurately using Epic charting system. Float to an alternate campus as needed when census is low. Work nights from 7 PM to 7 AM with every other weekend scheduled. Qualifications: Active Illinois RN license. Current CPR and NRP certifications. Minimum of 2 years experience as NICU RN in a Level III setting. Proficient with care of infants requiring high-level respiratory support and surgical interventions. Schedule: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM 7:00 AM) Every other weekend required Contract Details: Position based in Aurora, IL. Starts within 2 weeks.
