Job Description Job Description Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years NICU RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Provide specialized care in a Level III NICU supporting high-acuity neonatal patients ranging from 24 weeks gestation and up, including micro preemies, surgical infants, and those requiring respiratory support. This role requires expertise in managing complex neonatal conditions, including grower feeder care for infants around 44 weeks gestation. Qualifications & Experience: Minimum 2 years experience as an RN in a Level III NICU setting Skilled in caring for neonates including micro preemies and surgical infants Proficient in managing patients requiring respiratory support and specialized feeding protocols Current Illinois Registered Nurse License CPR and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications required Experience with Epic electronic charting system preferred Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality nursing care to neonates in a 12-hour night shift (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM) Monitor and support the medical and developmental needs of infants within the unit Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to implement individualized care plans May float to nearby Elmhurst campus depending on census needs Adhere to strict documentation standards and facility protocols Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM Every other weekend coverage required Contract Details: Contract position with a start date within two weeks Pay rate available upon request This opportunity is ideal for a compassionate, experienced NICU RN ready to work in a dynamic high-acuity care environment.
