In this role, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide therapeutic services tailored to pediatric patients with a variety of medical and psychological needs. Leveraging your specialized knowledge in pediatric therapy, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing patient outcomes and supporting the holistic well-being of children under our care. Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the psychological and social health needs of pediatric patients. Design and implement targeted treatment plans based on individual patient needs and medical recommendations. Collaborate with pediatricians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to integrate therapeutic practices with medical treatment. Provide crisis intervention as necessary and advocate for patients’ needs within the healthcare system. Educate families on coping mechanisms and the psychological aspects of medical conditions. Maintain meticulous records of patient interactions, treatment plans, and outcomes for use in continued care and documentation. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team Strong understanding of child development and pediatric psychological disorders Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic techniques for children and adolescents Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid state license in clinical psychology, social work, or equivalent.
