Job Summary
- The LPN is accountable for performing -professional nursing care utilizing the nursing process. -
- Coordinates care in an interdisciplinary manner and is accountable for all residents assigned to him/her according to established nurse practice act.
- Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development and possesses the ability to respond to specific issues and data reflective of the patient/customer's status. -
- Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for the population served in the department.
- Promotes and nurtures Mother Joseph Manor's philosophy of a resident centered care environment.
Education and/or Experience
- Graduation from an accredited school of licensed practical nursing. -
- Geriatric, medical, or surgical experience preferred.
Licensure/Certification/Registration
- Current license to practice nursing in the State of South Dakota.
- Membership in professional organization preferred.
- BLS certification required.
Work Schedule
- Dayshift: 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm; 72hrs/2wks
- 6:00 am - 6:30 pm
- Every 3rd weekend -
- --------------------------------------------------------Every 3rd holiday
Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience. -
