Job Summary
The Simulation Specialist is responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of the simulation center. Coordinates the activities of the simulation center, including day-to-day operations; preparing and maintaining simulation equipment, media, computers, and materials related to simulation learning. Serves as an expert resource and collaborates with health care professionals to meet simulation learning needs, maintains standards of care and quality, and uses effective teaching and evaluation methodologies.
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required, Master's degree preferred.
- Graduate from a CCNE or NLN accredited nursing program is strongly preferred. Graduate from an approved nursing program is acceptable.
- Previous simulation experience preferred
Licensure/Certification/Registration
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of South Dakota and/or meeting the requirements of Multi-state licensure is required.
- Simulation Certification preferred
- Membership in a professional simulation organization preferred.
Work Schedule
- Hours: Monday - Friday; 80 -hours every 2 weeks - -

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience. -
