HCA Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and skilled OR PRN RN for a call-only position to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing direct and individualized nursing care to our patients in operating room settings on an as-needed basis. The successful candidate will work closely with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care and support during surgical procedures. This position requires availability to cover shifts on an on-call basis with a focus on weekends, holidays, and non-standard hours. Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a surgical setting on an as-needed basis. Prepare operating rooms for surgery and ensure that all necessary equipment is available and functioning. Assist surgeons during operations and act as a liaison between the surgical team and other departments. Monitor patient vitals and respond to medical emergencies promptly. Administer medications and document patient status and treatment in compliance with healthcare regulations. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care. Educate patients and their families about post-operative care and health maintenance.
