Coordinate and supervise patient care in the emergency department, ensuring compliance with healthcare standards and safety regulations. Lead and mentor a team of nurses and support staff to enhance professional development and ensure adherence to best practices. Collaborate with physicians, paramedics, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care plans. Implement patient care protocols and evaluate their effectiveness in improving patient outcomes. Manage departmental staffing and scheduling, ensuring optimal resource utilization and patient coverage. Assist with the development and implementation of training and continuous education programs for emergency room staff. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the enhancement of departmental policies and procedures.
