Our client, a leader in the commercial facilities management industry is seeking a Commercial HVAC Technician to join their team. As a Commercial HVAC Technician, you will be part of a dynamic maintenance team supporting multiple facilities. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Commercial HVAC Technician Location: Charleston, South Carolina What's the Job? - Perform maintenance and repairs on Mechanical, Plumbing, Structural, Furniture, Fire, Life Safety, and Control systems to ensure compliance with applicable standards.
- Travel between multiple facilities to ensure their proper function and maintenance (vehicle provided).
- Maintain responsibility for facility services, including preventative maintenance, purchasing, inventory control, and general maintenance.
- Inspect, clean, calibrate, and change parts to maintain HVAC systems and associated equipment at optimal performance levels.
- Monitor the quality and pricing of maintenance work performed by outside contractors and ensure compliance with safety procedures. What's Needed?
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience in maintaining and repairing commercial building systems.
- Ability to analyze and troubleshoot various Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- EPA 608 Type II Certification.
