Job Summary: Talent Software Services is in search of a Consulting Director for a contract position in Columbia, SC. The opportunity will be six months with a strong chance for a long-term extension.

Position Summary: This is a part-time position requiring an average of 10 hours per week. The primary focus is to evaluate current internal business processes within Vocational Rehabilitation to identify opportunities for streamlining and enhancing services.

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
The role involves providing consulting and project management services aimed at identifying and implementing business process improvements for Vocational Rehabilitation services.

Assess NeedsConduct data analysis to determine agency needs and priorities.
Administer staff surveys to uncover process gaps, inefficiencies, and requirements.
Conduct consultation sessions with staff to evaluate current Vocational Rehabilitation processes.


Recommend Process ImprovementsLeverage extensive knowledge of applicable federal regulations for Vocational Rehabilitation to provide actionable process improvement recommendations, including prioritizing changes and identifying necessary new or revised documentation.
Evaluate potential impacts and risks associated with recommended process changes.
Prepare a comprehensive assessment and recommendations report.


Implement Process ImprovementsOffer project management services to develop a timeline, implementation plan, and communication strategy.
Collaborate with administration teams to revise documentation.
Work with staff to implement lean process strategies aimed at streamlining business processes and enhancing services.
Provide support and training to staff during the implementation of process changes and improvements.
