Job Summary and Qualifications The Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care by the nature and specific requirements in the heart failure clinic. The care is consistent with the scope and standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. In collaboration with medical providers, the RN provides individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care. We use established nursing models such as "Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage." The RN serves as an advocate for patients/families/caregivers. Our nurses model a commitment to the organization's vision/mission/values to support an unparalleled patient experience. Our clinical outcomes contribute to the overall departmental performance.What will you do in this role:
- You will be specialized in burn, heart and kidney related medical problems
- You will maintain overall accountability/responsibility for assigned patients
- You will manage efficient flow of patient care including screening, preparation for exam, providing general nursing care and comfort, and arranging for admissions, testing and discharges
- You will maintain and review patients' records including posting tests and examination results
- You will administer medications in accordance with physician orders
- You will instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment plans
- You will respond to and refer incoming telephone calls (may include phone triage when needed) What qualifications you will need:
