Responsibilities: --- Perform electrical repairs in community areas, including lights and laundry --- Ensure mechanical equipment is in working order and fixed as necessary --- Complete general building cleaning and maintenance --- Install and replace floors, stairs and piping as needed --- Repair and paint doors, windows, walls, ceilings, roofs and other parts of the building --- Maintain trash and recycling receptacles around the facility --- Maintain and repair air conditioning and heating systems as required --- Paint and fill gaps or crevices (on walls, sidewalks, etc.) --- Undertake light installation or carpentry --- Repair equipment or appliances --- Conduct repair work and installation of doors, windows, drywall, cabinets, stairs, and other fixtures as required --- Compliance with local building codes, and health and safety regulations --- Perform general maintenance and repairs on residential and commercial properties --- Install fixtures, appliances, and equipment as needed --- Maintain a clean and organized work area Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Qualifications: --- Ability to safely use common power and hand tools --- Strong communication skills with property management and tenants --- Self-starter with good time management skills --- Ability to stand for prolonged periods, climb, pull, and lift heavy objects --- Strong knowledge of general maintenance and repair techniques --- Attention to detail to ensure quality workmanship --- Time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines Compensation: $17 - $25 hourly
