The facility offers comprehensive, individualized treatment services by a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychiatric nurses, clinicians, mental health technicians and recreation therapists who are committed to high quality care. - The Registered Nurse provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. - Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. The concepts of Patient Centered Care will provide the foundation for all nursing care. Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times. - Duties: Performs nursing assessments. Performs group psychoeducation. Performs family psychoeducation. Performs individual psychoeducation. Develops nursing related programs as appropriate. Performs initial recertification's -and concurrent -reviews on PHP patients - - - - - - - - - - - Tracks daily attendance, admissions and discharges of PHP patients. - - - - - - - - - - - Participates in the development of treatment plans. Reviews and updates treatment plans as needed. Interacts with community agencies to establish mental health network. - - - - - - - - - - - Charts every session. Participates in program development meetings. Communicates and coordinates services with supervisor. Assists the Assessment and UR department as needed and able (e.g. answering RESPOND calls).
