Serve with compassion. Be the difference.Job SummaryThe Benefits Administrator position is responsible for directing and planning the day-to-day operations of group benefits programs. This position provides excellent customer service and designs quality benefits plans. The administrator continually investigates new benefits programs, improves existing programs, and supervises and monitors benefits administration.This position can be considered for remote work. Accountabilities - Serves as primary contact for plan vendors and third-party administrators.
- Evaluate and revise internal processes to reduce costs and increase efficiency
- Document and maintain administrative procedures for assigned benefits processes.
- Ensure compliance with applicable government regulations. Ensure timeliness and accuracy of required reporting and fees.
- Maintain group benefit database and update payroll as necessary.
- Audit the accuracy and performance of functions performed by Total Rewards team, reporting any deficiencies or opportunities for improvement to the Manager, Benefits.
- Perform plan audits. Prepare, collect and organize data for actuarial assessments
- Submit annual filings, on time, to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Provide customer service support to internal and external customers.
- Develop communication tools to enhance understanding of the company\u2019s benefit package.
- Develop knowledge articles to assist the Shared Services center operate efficiently.
- Provide ongoing training to Workforce Advisors and Consultants.
- Distribute legally required documents to team membersMinimum Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree- Human resources, business, or related field.\u00A0 Master's degree preferred.
- 4 years- Progressive professional experience in administering employee benefit programs, preferably in larger organizations.Knowledge, Skills or Abilities
