Greystone provides precision machining and plating services to major automotive, aerospace and medical OEMs and Tier I suppliers. Greystone is a safety critical component contract manufacturer that strives for industry leading quality company.As part of our maintenance team, you will install, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, and physical plant systems.Key Responsibilities:Visually inspect machinery and equipment. Troubleshoot and repair as neededDismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts.Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other machine components.Installs and repair electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment.Ability to repair of plumbing and piping systems including air, hydraulic, steam and PVC.Repair and maintain various pumps and filters associated with a chemical processing plant.Repair and maintain physical plant systems.Sets up and operates machine tools such as a lathe, grinder, drill and milling machine to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs and fixtures and tools.Operates cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts.Carpentry experience a plus.Successful candidates will have:High school diploma, trade or technical school certification or equivalent.3 to 6 months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Strong mechanical and electrical skills. Ability to perform electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic repairs on heavy and moderate equipment.Knowledge of plumbing, pump repair, welding and carpentry.Ability to work with mathematical concepts. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and fluid equipment.Ability to safely and technically work in close proximity to and with others to perform repairs and installations in a safe manner.Valid drivers license.
