Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years in casino Hard or Soft Count Operations
- Prior supervisory experience
- Must possess the ability to lead, direct, counsel and coach subordinates
- Ability to communicate with all levels
- Must have high school diploma or GED
- Must be able to read, speak, and understand English
- Must have math skills
- Ability to execute instructions in a professional, timely and concise manner
- Ability to train, evaluate and coach employees
- Prepare and issue annual performance appraisals
License Requirements:
Must be able to be licensed by the Rhode Island Department of Business Regulations
Essential Job Functions:
- Supervise Drop Team staff and participate when necessary in the Soft Count drop process ensuring the integrity of the drop and compliance with regulatory Policies and Procedures
- Obtain and maintain control of appropriate keys
- Generate reports as required by Management
- Establish and maintain good rapport with co-departments in order to deal with problems as they may arise
- Ensure that the inventory of supplies is adequate and that all machinery is in good working order
- Be available to work any hours and days as needed including holiday's and weekends.
- Ability to participate and encourage a team environment
- Responsible for maintaining confidentiality, safety, and security standards
- Ability to train staff
- Ability to create and implement Policy and Procedure as required and adhere to all regulatory mandates
Physical/Mental Requirements:
- Constant knowledge of all related Policies and Procedures
- Constant fast and accurate money handling capabilities
- Constant twisting, turning, bending, standing for long periods, manual dexterity and good vision
- Ability to work primarily grave shift along with other shifts as is necessary
