Job Description Job Description Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2 years Surgical Tech / Operating Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A travel nursing opportunity is available for an experienced Operating Room Technician (ORT) to support surgical teams in delivering exceptional patient care. This role involves assisting both the circulator and surgeon during surgeries while ensuring a safe, sterile environment in the operating room. The position requires adherence to all relevant State and Federal healthcare laws, regulations, and policies. Key Responsibilities: Assist circulator and surgeon in surgical patient care throughout procedures Maintain strict aseptic techniques to ensure a sterile operating room environment Prepare and organize surgical instruments and equipment prior to surgery Monitor surgical supplies and ensure availability during operations Participate in cleaning and setup of operating rooms between cases Respond to on-call duties as needed to support surgical schedules Comply fully with all healthcare regulations and institutional policies Desired Experience and Qualifications: Previous experience as an Operating Room Technician or equivalent role Strong knowledge of sterile processing and surgical instrumentation Ability to work effectively under the direction of operating room personnel Familiarity with compliance standards governing surgical procedures Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation Willingness to participate in on-call rotation Location Overview: Morrisville, Vermont offers a serene New England environment with access to outdoor recreation such as hiking, skiing, and fishing.
