Registered Respiratory Therapist Location: Coudersport, PA Agency: Clover Health Services Pay: $1,904 per week Shift Information: Evenings - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/30/2026 About the Position Key Responsibilities - Assist physicians in evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of respiratory disorders. - Evaluate patients and perform diagnostic tests (arterial blood gases, pulmonary function tests). - Develop respiratory treatment plans with physicians. - Monitor patient physiological responses to therapy. - Set up and operate mechanical ventilators and aerosol generators. - Manage life-support equipment in critical care settings. - Administer respiratory treatments (oxygen therapy, nebulizer treatments, chest physiotherapy). - Respond to emergency situations (cardiac arrest, trauma). - Collaborate with healthcare team on patient management. - Educate patients and families about disease management. Certifications/Requirements - Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from NBRC required. - Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) minimum certification required. - BLS/ACLS certification required. - State licensure required (49 states regulate respiratory therapy). Experience - Associate degree or higher from accredited respiratory care program (2-3 years). - Pass NBRC Therapist Multiple-Choice (TMC) examination. - Pass NBRC Clinical Simulation Examination (CSE). - 2 years clinical respiratory care experience preferred. - Pass state licensure examination.
