Job Description UPMC is currently hiring for a Full-time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our outpatient Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery Center in Williamsport, PA. This is a salaried Professional Staff Nurse, OP position 5 days/week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30/5:00 pm, with no weekends or major holidays. Purpose: The Professional Staff Nurse, a Registered Nurse, is a vital member of the care delivery team. Their responsibilities include setting care standards, managing patient activities, collaborating with the healthcare team, and maintaining relationships with providers and patients. Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances: - Act 33 with renewal - Act 34 with renewal - Act 73 FBI Clearance - Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) - CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire - Registered Nurse (RN) OR *Temporary Practice Permit (TPP) - Current Pennsylvania nursing license, or a multistate license issued by an NLC‑participating state.
