Title: Database Administrator Analyst Rate: $30.54/hr Location: Blue Bell, PA (Position is remote but will require quarterly travel to Blue Bell, PA – candidates MUST live within a commutable distance to Blue Bell, PA) Schedule: Mon – Fri, 8:00AM – 5:00PM EST Note: This is a W2 contract role, and it is NOT open to C2C or 3rd party candidates This position on the Medicare Risk Adjustment team is responsible for processing file receipts and submission of risk adjustment data to the Center for Medicare/Medicaid services. Responsibilities include understanding data requirements, using SAS code to process and create submissions, editing and formatting data received to comply to submission guidelines, creating and maintaining datasets, performing data retrieval, validation, and analysis, auditing trail documentation and reconciling, interacting with vendors, providers, and other internal constituents, and working with others to effectively manage the workflow and achieve commitments. Team members in this position will use Base SAS 9.4 Windows 10 version to perform data retrieval, comparisons, and formatting to create text file outputs. Position Responsibilities: Participate in the logical data modeling process in order to ensure that business requirements are translated into valid database designs Implement databases for testing and production Participate in database problem resolution support based on required business service levels Monitor and report project status to appropriate individuals Identify issues which may impact project results and bring them to the attention of the appropriate people Develop data extract processes to support business application needs that require data from the data warehouse and to feed external business partners, organizations, and government agencies data from the data warehouse Position Qualifications: 1-2 years of experience with Base SAS, OR a minimum of an Associate’s Degree and a Base SAS Certification required; Advanced SAS Certification highly preferred Strong experience in database administration and/or analysis Experience with Base SAS and ETL processes Note: This is a W2 contract role, and it is NOT open to C2C or 3rd party candidates More...
