<span>Position Title: Risk Management Analyst<br> <br>PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION<br>The successful candidate will be responsible for management reporting and analysis needed to provide effective risk management support and analysis within organization. The candidate will work directly with the Director or Risk Management and numerous stakeholders at all levels of the organization to support the risk management needs. <br>ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES<br>• Responsible for daily preparation, monitoring and analysis of risk management reporting – reporting includes, but is not limited to daily trade reporting, MtM, Position, Exposure, VaR and other statistical measurements<br>• Responsible for development of reporting needed to monitor all functions of the business outlined in the organization’s Risk Management policy<br>• Responsible for daily confirmation activity between organization and counterparties/brokers<br>• Will have daily interaction with multiple areas of the business including, but not limited to Trading, Operations and Finance teams<br>• Support reporting and analysis needed at the executive management team level<br>• Support the development of new policies, procedures and internal controls within functions of the organization where needed<br> <br> <br>POSITION REQUIREMENTS<br>• Bachelors degree in a business and/or mathematical/statistical disciplines<br>• 2-5 years minimum work experience, energy industry experience a plus <br>• Understanding of trading and derivative concepts<br>• Proven effective communication and interpersonal skills, including strong written and oral communication skills<br>• Strong analytical and problem solving skill sets – must be attentive to detail – ability to take responsibility and ownership of data integrity and apply self-checking techniques<br>• Experience with spreadsheet and database management, VBA or other programming skills a plus<br> <br></span> More...
