Facility in Seneca, PA seeking Pediatric Hospitalist locums coverage Rates: $3000/day Facility in Pennsylvania is seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist to provide coverage for a turnover vacancy beginning February 1, 2025. The locum provider will manage pediatric and newborn inpatient care, including emergency consultations and attending high-risk deliveries as needed. Position Details

• Shift: 24-hour call coverage from 7:30 AM - 7:30 AM
• Schedule: Approximately 18-20 days per month
• Rounding: 4 newborns on average, 1-2 circumcisions per day, and consults/admissions as needed
• Night Call: High-risk C-sections, newborn resuscitations, ER consults/admissions (estimated 3-5 calls per night)
• Average Admissions: 2-3 nursery per day; 2-3 pediatric per week
• Consults: 7-10 per week
• Support Staff: No APP coverage; solo provider during shifts
• EMR System: Cerner Requirements
  • Certification: Board Certified in Pediatrics
  • Licensure: Active Pennsylvania license preferred (will accept candidates needing to obtain a license)
  • Certifications Required: BLS, PALS, and NRP
