Process Engineering Intern - Philadelphia Pennsylvania

Overview This role will support the Process Engineering group by providing technical services in cross functional teams at Iovance. The role will report to the Director of Process Engineering at Iovance's manufacturing site (iCTC) in Philadelphia, PA. Essential Functions and Responsibilities - Support the organization in process deliverables such as equipment lists and equipment data sheets
- Participate in investigations and engineering studies
- Support safety reviews and failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA)
- Interface with other groups in the organization, including Facilities, Validation, Operations, Quality Control, and Quality Assurance
- Support onsite service calls with various vendors
- View and redline engineering drawings
- Performs other duties as assigned by leader.

- Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned. Required Education, Skills, and Knowledge
- Must be currently enrolled in a degree program at an accredited university/college with a major in an engineering, life sciences or other STEM related field.
- Must have completed at least one year of study at an accredited university/college prior to internship commencing
- Ability to understand processes, identify issues, and seek solutions - self- motivated with a continuous improvement mindset
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting
- Strong communication skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Must be comfortable in a fast-paced small company environment with minimal direction and able to adjust workload based upon changing priorities with a strong attention to detail.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
