CAD Technician - York Pennsylvania

Adecco is currently assiting a local company in York, PA in their search for a CAD Tech. This is a contact postion, lasting for over a year.

Duties included but not limited to:

- Assists in the development of product and manufacturing specifications for new and existing products.

- Applies technical skills to create specifications defining appropriate dimensions, materials and performance criteria for products.

- Applies technical skills to evaluate applicable dimensions and product performance that is required to define proper product specifications.

- Uses CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Adobe, Photoshop) and instrumentation (calipers, micrometers, etc.) to create and modify product specifications electronically.





Requirements:

- Associates Degree in engineering or manufacturing technology is preferred

- Two year minimum experience or equivalent combination of education and experience with mechanical drafting skills is preferred

- Proficient use of CAD software (SolidWorks and AutoCAD) as well as graphics editing software (i.e. Adobe Illustrator, CorelDraw, Photoshop, etc).
