Adecco Harrisburg is currently accepting resumes to fill TEMPORARY Associate Technician positions located with a major pharmaceutical client in Myerstown, Pa (Lebanon County). This client runs all 3 shifts to include Monday through Friday 7:00am-3:30pm (limited openings), Monday through Friday 3:00pm-11:30pm and Sunday through Thursday 11:00pm-7:30am.

This client DOES require overtime which can include coming in early, staying late and working on your days off. Also, depending on business needs, you may be asked to switch shifts.

Qualified applicants MUST HAVE the following experience to possibly be considered for these positions. Experience includes but is not limited to:



-Must have a High School diploma or GED.



-MUST BE PHYSICALLY CAPABLE OF STANDING ON YOUR FEET FOR 8 HOURS A DAY AND BE ABLE TO LIFT, BEND AND STOOP AS NEEDED



-PREVIOUS, RECENT (at least 1 full year within the past 3 years) MANUFACTURING AND/OR PRODUCTION ENVIRONMENT EXPERIENCE - THIS IS WORKING WITHIN AN ENVIRONMENT WHERE A PRODUCT IS ACTUALLY BEING PRODUCED AND DISTRIBUTED



-Experience working in a PRODUCTION AND/OR MANUFACTURING ENVIRONMENT REQUIRED.



-Experience setting up and tearing down manufacturing and/or packaging equipment - MUST BE CLEARLY LISTED ON RESUME



-Experience using AUTOMATED INVENTORY SYSTEMS - MUST BE CLEARLY LISTED ON RESUME



-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.



-Computer skills REQUIRED - must indicate what you have used the skills for for example email for personal use, email for business use, software programs to include MS Word, MS excel, online purchasing, electronic databases etc. - MUST BE CLEARLY LISTED ON RESUME



-Experience using Material Handling equipment - both MOTORIZED AND NON-MOTORIZED equipment - MUST BE CLEARLY LISTED ON RESUME



-Experience working in a Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) or Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) environment required.-MUST BE CLEARLY LISTED ON RESUME.



-Must be able to demonstrate a mathematical aptitude. Skills required (addition/subtraction/multiplication/ division, metric system).



-RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION AS THIS CLIENT IS NOT ON A BUS ROUTE



-IF SELECTED TO FILL THIS POSITION MUST COMPLETE A CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK, DRUG SCREEN AND PHYSICAL PRIOR TO BEGINNING THE ASSIGNMENT



Job duties include but are not limited to:



-Ensure safe work environment by following all safety and ergonomic rules.



-Ensure product quality by complying with Current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).



-Supply production or manufacturing areas with bulk packaging/manufacturing materials.



-Supply staging area with required materials and retrieve empty bins from warehouse. Identify/return materials to the warehouse.



-Accurately record components, lot numbers, and quantities on packaging order and into automated inventory system (SAP). Check all shippers from production line and stack on pallets.



-Utilize automated inventory system (SAP) to conduct transactions as needed: scrap transactions, reconciliation, manual transfers, SAP inventory cleanup, etc.



-Check consecutive numbers and other stamps on shippers and verify counts.



-Operate electric or manual hand trucks for most stocking operations as well as forklift operation AS NEEDED.



-Keep daily production sheets and time sheets for team; requisition supplies as needed.



-Clerical work, including work on personal computer (i.e., SAP, Lotus Notes, etc.)



-Interact with Warehouse on supply/automated inventory system issues.



-Help build team-oriented culture.



-Perform Department and Line cleanings as required by SOP's.



Pay rate is $15.00/hr.
