Our client is currently seeking a Quality Engineer for their manufacturing facility near the Williamsport, MD area.Responsibilities:*Lead and Manage the company's quality program at the plant level*Ensure assembly operations conform to general and mandatory specifications.*Manage new processes and procedures implementation in regards to new products/equipment introduction*Support regional operational excellence engineers/kaizen events*Participate in customer meetings/events*Participate in quality reporting and management review process.*Provide process improvement recommendations*Recommendation of corrective actions to plant managementQualifications:*BS in Engineering or science field preferred.*5+ years
