Posted Job Title Clinical Research Coordinator A (Department of Pulmonary, Allergy and Critical Care) Job Profile Title Clinical Research Coordinator A Job Description Summary This position will support the management of 2-3 observational studies that involve studies that broadly assess outcomes in lung cancer screening, diagnosis, or treatment. Under the direct supervision of the Principal Investigator (PI) and a Project Manager, the CRC-A will carry out research activities including obtaining regulatory approvals (and associated tasks), and implementation of study protocols. The CRC-A will assist with data acquisition and management plans, including building of data management tools in REDCap and coordination of data acquisition (CRF completion, acquisition from Penn DAC). For prospective studies that require biosample or imaging data management, the CRC-A will coordinate appropriate handling of such data. For multicenter studies, the Project Manager will coordinate with external CROs or central management teams at lead sites. The CRC-A will show vigilance in patient safety, protocol compliance, data quality, and adhere to all local, FDA, and GCP guidelines. Finally, the CRC-A will supervise a student research assistant. - Screening of study participants for enrollment
- Data management (REDCap builds, CRF completion, and coordination of EMR extraction w/ DAC)
- Oversee biosample and imaging data collection and transfer
- Assist with internal and external audits
- Assist in completion of study summaries and report
- Supervise research assistants
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications * Bachelor of Science and 1 to 2 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. Position contingent upon funding. Job Location - City, State Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Department / School Perelman School of Medicine Pay Range $37,220.00 - $44,947.00 Annual Rate Salary offers are made based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, as well as internal and market factors and grade profile.
