TransForce is seeking full-time professional drivers with a Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL A) to join our dedicated team. As a CDL A Driver in our fleet, you will have the opportunity to work with prominent clients across various industries, ensuring timely and secure transport of goods and materials. Safely operate a tractor-trailer/truck to deliver goods and materials timely and efficiently. Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order. Manage routes and routines so they proceed in the most efficient way possible. Maintain logs of working hours or of vehicle service or repair status, following applicable state and federal regulations. Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures. Handle documentation concerning cargo, routing, or scheduling, ensuring all are completed accurately and on time. Communicate effectively with dispatch or management regarding delays or unforeseen issues. Proven work experience as a truck driver with a clean driving record. Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations. Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc.). Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly. Proficiency in using GPS and other routing systems. Experience in basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting skills.
