(Full-Time, Days)Pay range: $43.15 - $64.73*DEPARTMENTAL SUMMARY:* The Rehabilitation Department provides therapy and nursing services to patients, families and patients caregivers including: Rehabilitation Nursing Care, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Language Pathology. Our department operates as a system department and provides services to Acute Care, Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility and Outpatient settings across four campuses. Our Rehabilitation departments offer a variety of specialty services across the various services delivery areas.*POSITION OVERVIEW: The Speech Language Pathologist *evaluates, plans, and provides treatment and rehabilitation as prescribed by a referring physician. Works with family and team members regarding patients abilities and goals.*EDUCATION:**Required: *Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a college or university accredited by the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association.*LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION:**Required*: Must have necessary requisites for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist by the Oregon State Board of Health. Must have active Certificate of Clinical Competance (CCC) from the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA). Must have necessary requisites for a valid Oregon driver's license and ability to meet St. Charles Health System driving requirements. Ability to travel to business functions/trainings/meetings and all St. Charles Health System worksites. Current AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider certification. ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence.*EXPERIENCE:**Required*: 1 year experience required of therapy procedures with medical based diagnoses and familiarity with rehabilitation practices.*Preferred*: Previous experience in a hospital-based setting.
