Job Overview:We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Medical/Surgical team. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide direct patient care, assess patient needs, and collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans. This is a full-time position.Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Medical/Surgical unit- Assess patient conditions and develop appropriate care plans- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians- Monitor and document patient vital signs and progress- Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care- Educate patients and their families on disease management and treatment plans- Assist with procedures such as wound care, catheterization, and ostomy care- Ensure accurate documentation of patient information in electronic medical records- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patientsSkills:- Proficient in medical terminology and documentation- Experience in dementia care, infant care, dialysis, ER, airway management, catheterization, ostomy care, and primary care is preferred- Knowledge of durable medical equipment (DME) usage and maintenance- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environmentWe offer competitive pay rates and comprehensive benefits packages for our Registered Nurses.
