Position Summary:
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides and coordinates the delivery of clinical and non-clinical services under the direction of the Physicians in the clinic. Triages and prioritizes incoming patient concerns, conferring with physicians, following through on physician orders and relaying information to patients. - Performs care coordination for obstetrical patients including completing the initial intake for newly pregnant patients.
Minimum Qualifications:

• 
  High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED)
  
  
• Active LPN licensure in the state of Oregon. - -
  
• 
  Six or more months of related experience in a medical practice preferred
  
  
  Essential Job Functions:
  
  
  
  • 
    Triages all patient related telephone calls. - Assesses situations and consults with physician, - and prioritizes calls according to severity or need. - - -
    
    
  • 
    Performs care coordination for obstetrical patients -
    
    
  • 
    Collecting, recording and reporting data that includes vitals, Temperature, Pulse and Respiration (TPR), Blood Pressure (BP) and blood sugar readings
    
    
  • 
    Collecting specimens as requested
    
    
  • 
    Accurately relays physician orders to patients, hospitals, pharmacies and other agencies. Accurately documents patient orders and outcomes.
    
    
  • 
    Assists the - with clerical duties as needed such as: Answering the phone, greeting patients and visitors, routing calls to appropriate staff, scheduling patient appointments
    
    
  • 
    Other responsibilities as directed by physician or manager. -

      Demonstrated competency in BLS (Basic Life Support)

      Demonstrated organization, prioritization and time-management skills
