Ponzi Vineyards is looking for an energetic team player to work as our Line Cook/Hospitality Support at our Sherwood Tasting Room.This position requires a Hospitality professional with the ability to maintain our high standards of quality and guest satisfaction. The Ponzi Vineyards Line Cook/Hospitality Support is responsible for assisting with all kitchen functions, including food preparation and maintenance of quality standards, plate presentation and maintaining a clean and well-organized kitchen. The Ponzi Vineyards Line Cook/Hospitality Support. This role is a hybrid variation, with assisting the Front of House, including bussing, resetting tables and polishing glassware. This position will report to the Tasting Room Manager and Culinary Director.Duties: Stock, prepare and maintain sufficient levels of food products according to winery needs and prep lists. Assist Front of House with bussing, polishing, and resetting tables. Assist Culinary Director with event food preparation and execution. Assist BOH and FOH with monthly inventory. Assist with Harvest Meal preparation and execution.Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year of culinary/kitchen experience (preferred). Knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls and presentation (preferred). This is a permanent part-time position. On call/hourly/flexible schedule: must offer evening & weekend availability. Standard schedule: Thursday-Monday. Hours will vary depending on demand. Must be able to stand for 8 hours and lift up to 50 pounds. Applicants must have a professional, polished appearance and attitude. Applicants must have reliable transportation.
