Competitive Pay: $25-$28/hour based on your experience Steady, Local Work: First shift with no overnight travel Diverse Repairs: Work on a wide range of vehicles, diesel engines, and heavy equipment Team Environment: Collaborate with a dedicated team who values quality work and reliability Trusted Company: Be part of a growing, respected company in the Oklahoma wastewater industry What You'll Do As a Diesel Repair Mechanic / Technician, you'll: Perform maintenance and repairs on diesel and gas-powered vehicles and equipment Troubleshoot and fix engine, brake, drivetrain, electrical, and A/C issues Maintain and repair small engines and off-road construction equipment Conduct DOT inspections on trucks and trailers Schedule and track repairs in our fleet management system Help organize the parts area and keep the shop clean and functional Communicate with managers and vendors to coordinate parts and repairs Follow all safety protocols in a shop and outdoor environment What You Bring To be successful in this role, you'll need: A high school diploma or equivalent At least 2 years of experience in vehicle or equipment maintenance Hands-on skills in diesel diagnostics, brake systems, and light/medium-duty repairs Welding experience (preferred, not required) Familiarity with small engine repair A valid driver's license with a clean driving record ( CDL a plus ) Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening Working Conditions Shift: Day shift (1st shift), with occasional overtime, nights, or weekends as needed Environment: Exposure to mechanical equipment, loud noise, and outdoor weather (heat, rain, humidity) Reliability: Regular attendance and punctuality are essential to team operations Red Dirt Septic is an equal opportunity employer and proudly encourages veterans to apply.
