Sleep Technician I - PRN - Noble Oklahoma

Responsibilities: - Explain procedures to the patient, collects necessary paper work, monitors and records study.
- Applies the international 10-20 System of Electrodes, polysomnography set-up, oximeter calibration, and set-up of ancillary equipment.
- Record review of polysomnograms is an integral part of the job.
- Reviews clinical competencies for procedures, equipment and documentation
- Evaluates and administered polysomnography studies with supervision, through application of international 10-20 System.
- Identification of sleep stages, apneic respiratory events and periodic leg movements. Qualifications: Education
- High school diploma or equivalent. Experience
- Some experience in medical field preferred. (Above requirements can be met by equivalent combination of education and experience) Licensure/Certification
- Employee must obtain sleep tech II position within 12 months of hire date, and gain RPSGT within 2 years of hire.
- Basic cardiac life support (BCLS), continuing education in sleep diagnostic required per state regulations, accrediting organization or as determined by clinical education coordinator, valid driver's license and auto insurance. Compensation/Benefits
