*Job description:**Position: Certified Medical Assistant CMA (Auto Offer)**Location-* *Cushing, OK**Shift: Day- 8x5, 40 hours**Assignment Length: 6 weeks**Facility Specific Requirement:** High school diploma, GED certification or equivalent or greater.* Must be state certified as a Medical Assistant in the state of employment or meet the state guidelines for exceptions to certification.* A valid driver's license is required.* Minimum 1 year of CMA experience* BLS (AHA)*Responsibilities:-** The Certified Medical Assistant performs and assists with a variety of basic patient care activities under the direction of a physician and supervision of a licensed nurse.* Conduct peripheral venipuncture to collect blood samples from patients/residents and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis.* Assist with the administration of oral medications and via subcutaneous and intramuscular routes, as directed by the licensed nurse and according to state scope of practice guidelines.* Assist nurses with EKG's and other diagnostic tests and clinical procedures in accordance with level of training and health services policies and procedures.* Attend sick call with the physician to see inmates/residents; prepare a list of inmates/residents to be examined; prepare examining room and equipment.* Perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation and obstructed airway techniques.* Dress and bandage wounds; assist with immobilization of bone and joint injuries* Provide oxygen therapy; insert nasal and oral airway as directed by a licensed nurse.* Assist with urinary catheterizations.*Benefits and Compensation: ** Health Insurance (Vison, Medical and Dental through Blue Cross)* Referral Bonus* 401(k) Investment Plan* Personal assistance before, during, and after assignments* Assistance for medical compliance requirement.Job Types: Full-time, ContractPay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:* 401(k)* 401(k) matching* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Life insurance* Paid time off* Vision insuranceSchedule:* 8 hour shift* Day shiftWork setting:* In-personExperience:* CMA: 1 year (Required)License/Certification:* Certified Medical Assistant (Required)* Driver's License (Required)Ability to Relocate:* Cushing, OK: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In personby Jobble More...
