* Manage the configuration and operation of RedHat and Solaris servers
* Monitor the system daily and respond immediately to security or usability concerns
* Respond to and resolve help desk requests via Remedy--- Configure, upgrade or patch operating systems as required for enhanced functionality and security issue resolution
* Administrate infrastructure, including firewalls, intrusion detection, malware protection software and other processes
* Running SCAP Scans, applying STIGs and other cybersecurity methodologies
* Upgrade, troubleshoot and replace components in servers class systems
Minimum Position Requirements:--- 2+ years' experience in RedHat system administration
* Associate or higher degree from accredited college with major in IT, engineering, science or mathematics
* Experience with creating, troubleshooting and maintaining virtual machines with VMware
* Advanced knowledge of system vulnerabilities and security issues
* Current CompTIA Security+ Certification
* Secret Clearance
* US Citizen
A Plus but not required--- Current RedHat Certified System Administrator
* Knowledge of Solaris OS
* Working knowledge configuring and using Ansible and Satellite Certifications Required by Contract:
