Salary: $180,000 - $215,000 per year A bit about us: We are in search of a dynamic and experienced Tax Director to join our robust Accounting and Finance team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in a rapidly growing organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of tax reporting, compliance, planning and strategy. This is a high visibility role that will work closely with senior management and various departments within the organization. Oversee and manage all corporate tax operations including tax planning, compliance, and preparation of tax returns. 2. Develop and implement effective tax strategies to support corporate goals. 3. Liaise with external auditors and tax consultants to ensure compliance with all federal, state, local, and foreign tax laws. 4. Review and approve tax returns for individuals (1040), partnerships, and corporations. 5. Provide expert advice on tax implications of business decisions and potential acquisitions. 6. Manage and resolve tax audits and controversies. 7. Monitor changes in tax legislation and analyze their impact on the company. 8. Collaborate with other departments to provide tax-related guidance and support. 9. Develop and maintain strong relationships with business partners and stakeholders. 10. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing tax team. Job Details Qualifications 1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. An advanced degree such as an MST or JD/LLM is preferred. 2. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required. 3. A minimum of 5 years of progressive tax experience in a public accounting firm or a corporate tax department. 4. Extensive experience with partnership tax matters and individual tax returns (1040). 5. Comprehensive understanding of federal, state, and local tax codes as well as international tax regulations. 6. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team. 7. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. 8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization. 9. Proficient in tax software and technology. 10.
