*PRN Occupational Therapist Assistant*Heritage is seeking a *PRN OTA *for our Ravenna (*Longmeadow*) location. *Coverage is needed for weekends* (flexible w/ Saturday or Sunday), overflow of caseload, call offs, and vacations.*Starting rate* for this location is *$30/hr* pending relative experience*Join our in-house therapy team!*Heritage Therapy provides high-quality physical, occupational, and speech therapies and rehabilitation at many of our Embassy Healthcare Facilities.We strive to help patients reach their maximum potential so they can live as independently as possible. Our experienced therapists work closely with patients and their caregivers to build customized rehabilitation programs tailored to each individuals needs.The therapy staff and interdisciplinary team strive to create a comprehensive care plan that is unique to each short-term, outpatient, or long-term patient. The therapy gym is spacious and equipped with all the tools that a therapist needs to provide the most effective treatment interventions.**Duties:**- Support licensed Occupational Therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans.- Provide direct patient care, including assisting with therapeutic exercises and modalities.- Accurately and promptly document patient progress.- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care.- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and home exercises.**Experience:**- Previous experience or knowledge in hospital medicine, acute care, inpatient settings, clinics, geriatrics, orthopedics, occupational health, or hospital environments is advantageous.- Familiarity with medical terminology and physiology is beneficial.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while upholding high standards of patient care.Join our team and make a difference in the lives of our patients.
