Job Description: The Systems Engineer is accountable for the system level design and integration of laparoscopic surgical products that are part of broader surgical systems. In this position you will lead the architecture, requirements definition and systems integration of multiple subsystems. The candidate will be a natural problem solver and will contribute to all aspects of the new product development process. You will provide technical leadership in systems architecture, definition, integration, and systems engineering processes across a variety of skilled SMEs. Key Responsibilities:

• Accountable for driving the system architecture and subsystem integration for the system of interest.
• Accountable for system performance, ensure requirements are satisfied by the architecture.
• Collaborates across mechanical, electrical, software, and cybersecurity systems engineers and SMEs to build robust product architectures.
• Architects electrical and software designs of highly sophisticated medical devices
• Ensure systems design and documentation meet all safety and regulatory compliance, and IEC standards for medical devices.
• Develop detailed product requirements, engineering specifications, system architecture, detailed component specifications, verification and validation test protocols and reports.
• Collaborates with the team to drive standardization and harmonization of MBSE techniques cross the systems engineering organization. More...
