Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/. The Senior Electrical Design Engineer will make vital contributions to the New Product Development (NPD) pipeline and transform patient care through innovation. They will provide technical direction to the team and design, develop, and implement electrical systems for our capital equipment products. This is an opportunity to be accountable for Design Control processes in a Medical Device for a subsystem of our platform from requirements definition and prototyping through production. What You'll Do:

• Own the design, manufacturing, and lifecycle of a Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) that is critical to the functionality of the capital device.
• Document designs, specifications, and requirements per design control processes.
• Drive the design, development, and debugging of embedded product software to integrate with mechanical, electrical, and distributed computing systems.
• Lead root cause investigations on electrical and software related issues that arise during the prototype and production processes.
• Own the hardware verification strategy with Manufacturing and Test Engineers to implement automated testing of the capital equipment.
• Lead the External Standards testing efforts for the capital equipment.
