We deliver innovation that advances the way the world pays, banks and invests.Are you interested in being a part of a collaborative, energetic, and business-oriented legal team? --As a Privacy Analyst at Worldpay you will have the opportunity to work on some of the most challenging and relevant issues in financial services and information technology. --Our talented people empower us, and we believe in being part of a team that is pragmatic, collegial and enthusiastic about representing a thriving company in a dynamic corporate industry.What you will be doing:You will assist with the monitoring of Worldpays compliance with Global Privacy Regulations, including but not limited to GDPR, LGPD, CCPA, PIPL, PIPEDA, etc. You will provide advice to FIS business units on existing and upcoming global Privacy laws. Additionally, you will risk assesses new products and services that process personal data. You will deputize for the Chief Privacy Officer and Data Protection Officer, or any other team member, as necessary.-- Specifically, your role will: - Provide oversight and drive privacy and data protection compliance for recently acquired business
- Monitor new and upcoming privacy and data protection laws and regulations
- Assist in the assessment, escalation, and notification of privacy incidents
- Conduct data audits, policy and notice updates, and subject access requests as necessary
- Inform and advise FIS business units and employees on their obligations under global privacy and data protection laws and regulations
- Monitor compliance with global privacy and data protection laws and regulations other countries.
- Risk assess all new FIS products
- Assist the Chief Privacy Officer and Data Protection Officer, or any other team member, as needed
- Works with internal shareholders and external consultants to execute the privacy and data protection program
- Provides project management oversight for various initiatives to modify global business practices
- Informs and advises FIS employees on the company's obligations under privacy and data protection laws
- Monitors and audits company compliance with privacy and data protection laws
- Conducts training and awareness to help teams understand how to handle sensitive information and apply policies
- Supports Chief Privacy Officer and EU Data Protection Officer (DPO) in enforcing requirements and processes
- Partners with the IT department in the development of policies, procedures and practices for information security, data handling, outsourcing, BYOD and monitoring in the work place
- Works with Sales & Marketing to confirm compliance with applicable laws and regulations for marketing, advertising, profiling and publicity
- Assists with performance of data protection impact assessments ("DPIAs")
- Monitors and communicates regulatory changes that impact FIS products, services and business activities
- Maintains knowledge of applicable laws and regulations
- Offers guidance on implementing regulatory changes
- Participates in training promoting privacy and data protection awareness
- Identifies areas of potential improvement
- Provides updates for periodic reports
- Interfaces with legal counsel, data protection authorities, and works councils, as needed, to address regulatory issues, concerns or questions.
- Assists the business with responses to customer specific questions and concernsWhat you bring for experience:
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Typically requires up to three years of work experience
- Team player and proven ability to manage work and projects
- Familiarity in translating complex legislation or legal advice into clear guidance
- Understanding of Legal and Regulatory system
- Strong communication skillsAdded bonus if you have:
- Privacy/Compliance experience require
- Experience at a multinational organization
- Experience with Regulatory complaints and investigations
- Financial Services experience
- Experience giving clear and simple advice on complex laws and regulations
- CIPT, CIPM, CIPP/A and/or CIPP/US qualifications desirable
- Experience or expertise in the payments services or data processing industry, or in working closely with financial institutions on their technology matters.--
