Description:Our client is currently seeking a PROCESS ENGINEER for their manufacturing facility near Cleveland, OH.This job will have the following responsibilities:Plant champion/expert for a new in line process designed. Own the process and be the plant resource to understand the operation and train all involved in the safe efficient operation of the equipment.Standardize plant operations with the goal of minimizing process yield loss and providing exceptional quality products and servicesDevelop and maintain manufacturing specificationsLed effort to identify potential step changes to improve overall operationsTrain and develop employees to assure operational flexibility and responsiveness, and increase technical knowledgeIdentify, prioritize, coordinate and monitor process improvements for the plant with waste reduction, throughput improvement, and quality enhancement as prioritiesTake lead for documenting process improvements and new operating directivesManage expenditures related to project assignmentsMaintain safety, product quality, and manufacturing effectiveness through daily troubleshooting and resolution of Process difficultiesProvide business case for process improvementObtain and advise estimated scope of proposed projectsEnsure that all improvement projects meet Company/OSHA safety requirements including careful attention to management of change processWork closely with division quality group to ensure that all quality policies and procedures are followedEnsure that products leaving the plant meet customer specificationsRequirements/ Skills:BS from an accredited college or University within EngineeringFive years of progressive engineering experience preferredExperience in an continuous operation manufacturing facilityAutoCAD skillsExperience in continuous improvement processes (Six Sigma, TPS, Lean)Experience with advanced process controlsAbility to manage several projects and changing prioritiesExposure to manufacturing facilities safety and quality programsProven ability to plan, organize and execute projectsDemonstrated ability to build and achieve results through collaborative relationshipsDemonstrated ability to analyze data and translate findings for operational improvementsDemonstrated ability to standardize and document a processStrong computer skills including data collection, analysis, and report writingStrong presentation skills both internally and externallyMust be innovative and adaptable More...
