Brennan Manna & Diamond (BMD) is seeking a highly motivated, entrepreneurial, partner or associate with significant experience in Probate, Wills, Trusts, and Estate Planning to join our Akron office. Experience Requirements & Education:--- Juris Doctor (JD) Degree from an ABA-accredited law school.--- Valid license, in good standing, to practice law in the state of Ohio.--- 6+ years experience in the field of estate planning.
Responsibilities:--- Meeting and advising clients regarding, estate and tax planning, powers of attorney, living wills, deeds, asset protection, and Medicaid planning.--- Draft Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney, and related documents ensuring compliance with state and federal laws and regulations.--- Assist with the trust funding process, trust settlements, and estate administration.--- Representation of Fiduciaries--- Remain current on changes in estate planning, tax laws, and Medicaid laws and regulations.--- Maintain detailed documentation and records of client interactions.--- Communicate professionally and promptly with BMD personnel, and clients at all times.
Skills:--- Superior attention to detail.--- Maintain the utmost confidentiality.--- Proficient in Microsoft Office; Excel, Word.--- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.--- Strong organization and analytical skills.--- Self-motivated and have the capacity to effectively manage, organize, and complete a heavy caseload.--- Commitment to maintain high levels of professional conduct.--- Ability to lift a maximum of 20 pounds.
Work Hours:--- Full-time Monday-Friday.--- In office position.
