Our client is currently seeking an Assistant Transportation Supervisor for their manufacturing facility in the Akron, OH area.This job will have the following responsibilities:*Must have strong DOT experience*Ability to dispatch and route a team of 19 full time drivers*Capable of standing in for Transportation Supervisor as neededQualifications & Requirements:*3+ years' experience in transportation and logistics*Ability to succeed in a matrix organization structure*Strong experience with multi-stop truck routing and delivery*Manufacturing experience highly preferred, but not a requirement*Strong skills in safety / DOT compliance, oral & written communication, Electronic On Board Recorder systems, and computer literacy (Microsft Office products)*Experience with Roadnet, Mobilecast, PeopleNet, or similar Transportation Management Systems**All qualified candidates are encourage to email current resumes to jhoms judge.com**UI 671705 More...
