In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our production areas are free of debris, maintaining cleaning equipment and supplies, and performing regular inspections to ensure that our standards are met. If you are excited to join our team and be a part of a clean and safe production environment, apply now!Job Responsibilities: - As a Production Sanitation Technician, you must follow safety guidelines and sanitation procedures while performing work.
- Clean and sanitize production and storage equipment, floors, walls, and other surfaces.
- Empty and clean waste containers as needed.
- Dispose of hazardous waste in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Maintain and restock cleaning supplies.
- Operate and monitor sanitation and cleaning equipment such as floor scrubber, scissor lifts, and pressure washers.
- Ensure that all areas are free of any potential contamination.
- Follow strict food safety and quality control regulations.
- Safely handle and use hazardous chemicals, including acids, chlorines, and caustics.
- Following sanitation schedules to conduct and document routine cleaning of the facility and production line.
- Using chemicals per stated concentrations and in appropriate applications and doing proper documentation of usage.
- Assist in other Production Sanitation Technician tasks as needed.
- Knowledge of proper sanitation practices
- Ability to disassemble and reassemble production equipment.
- Knowledge of industrial chemicals and their safe use.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Understand simple instructions, training materials, and product labeling.
- Perform basic math for dilutions and work with cleaning chemicals.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team of other Production Sanitation Technicians.
- Ability to work from heights utilizing ladders and aerial lifts.
- Ability to work weekends.
