Apply Description ASN Constructors is a joint venture of three international contractors (Acciona, Shikun & Binui and North American Construction Group) who will work with the Metro Flood Diversion Authority and other area stakeholders to build a historic project that will protect the citizens of the Fargo-Moorhead area from flood waters from the Red River. The Construction Laborer is responsible for working in a safe and effective manner. Perform tasks involving physical labor at construction sites Responsibilities - Follow all safety procedures on the job site and report violations immediately
- Follow direction of Foreman and Equipment Operators as to daily tasks and expectations for each specific project or jobsite
- Signal equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement, and adjustment of machinery, equipment, and materials.
- Maintain a safe and clean job site by handling materials and storing them properly, picking up and removing all tools and equipment when not in use, and securing the job site on a daily basis.
- Load and unload construction supplies from trucks both manually and with the use of equipment.
- Report incidents immediately in accordance with incident reporting procedures established by the company.
- Performs other laboring and various unskilled and semi-skilled tasks essential to the project
Requirements Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities - Good work ethic
- Ability to learn
- Be dependableExperience/Qualifications:
- Prior construction experience a plus
- Valid Driver's License is required
Physical Demands and Work Environment - ALL CRAFT AND FIELD POSITIONSWORK ENVIRONMENT - Regularly exposed to outside weather conditions.
- Exposure to moving mechanical parts.
- Occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and vibration.
- Noise levels in the work environment is usually loud.
- Ability to wear and work in personnel protective equipment including but not limited to hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, ankle-supporting safety-toed work boots and a safety vest.PHYSICAL DEMANDS
